The Swansboro Area Chamber of Commerce is a not-for-profit organization owned and operated by business leaders who care about our community. The Chamber's mission is to promote business growth, to serve members with professional development opportunities, and to affect public policy decisions to the benefit of the Swansboro area business community.
DEVELOPMENT CONNECTIONS
The Chamber encourages the growth of existing companies and works to attract new business to the Swansboro Area.
NETWORKING CONNECTIONS
The Chamber connects Swansboro and surrounding area business communities. We sponsor networking events year round, including our Business After Hours and General Membership Meetings held monthly, and our Annual Business Showcase.
MARKETING CONNECTION
Chamber members have the opportunity to promote their businesses and expose their message to both the general membership and the community with different levels of membership. New members receive exposure in our newsletter, Chamber Tidings. All members receive a free listing on the chamber website. (www.swansborochamber.org) The Chamber also fields calls for referrals and we promote only Chamber members.
The Chamber has several membership levels designed to provide greater value for our members. This helps us better serve members at various levels – from those who want basic access to networking and information, to those who want to support not only the Chamber, but economic development and quality of life issues in our area. |
GENERAL MEMBERSHIP
Minimum investment of $275 and renewal fee each year is $250.
Membership in the Chamber demonstrates a company’s pledge to helping improve economic strength and quality of life. In return, Chamber members benefit from the wealth of networking and growth opportunities exclusively provided through membership.
INDIVIDUAL MEMBERSHIP
Minimum
investment of $125 and a renewal fee each year of $100
The Chamber’s
Individual level consists of Chamber members who want to provide
direction for the Chamber and the Swansboro area as a whole. These are
some of the areas most devoted Individuals, those who are determined to
see that our community grows by contributing their time, talent and
resources.
SECONDARY MEMBERSHIP
Minimum investment of $150 and renewal fee each year of $125
The Chamber’s Secondary level is designed for business owners
that have more than one (1) business and offers membership
level at a discounted rate.
NONPROFIT MEMBERSHIP
Minimum investment of $125 and a renewal fee each year of $100
The Chamber’s Individual and Non-Profit level consists of individuals and non-profit organizations who want to provide direction for the Chamber and the Swansboro area as a whole. These are some of the areas most devoted Individuals and non-profit organizations who are determined to see that our community grows by contributing their time, talent and resources.
HOME BASED BUSINESS
Minimum investment of $175 and a renewal fee each year of $150
The Chamber’s Home Based Business level is geared toward
individuals that work from their homes and wish to have more
exposure within the Swansboro area business community.
